Jackie Chan made me Cry Oct 20, 2003, 04:00 EDT

Movies are never meant to be more than one thing. The same can be said for a vehicles tires. Tires are able to help a car accelerate, brake or turn. Doing too much of more than one thing in any extreme usually results in a loss of control and a nice accident.

While my education doesn't allow me to understand the nature or absurdity of the cosmos, I did get to write a good story, with an excellent title, too.

Jesus Loves You, Karma Doesn't Aug 14, 2003, 05:00 EDT
By Smitty-boy
The basic thing about Karma is that if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you. If you do good things, good things will happen to you. It's simple and makes sense.

Black Peter was an elf that punished naughty children, but disappears from the new tale. They took away the cool part: Black Peter. Where did he go? Is it because he was black? The Victorians had a funny way of making things very white-washed in North America.

Job Interviews Nov 29, 1999, 03:00 EST
By Lilith DemHareIs
There comes a time in everyone's life when they feel the need to go find a job. Yeah, work sucks after a little while, but the desperate need for money keeps pulling you back to the Old Grind. It's like a bad addiction; you don't do it because you want to, you do it because you have to.

Jobs come and go Nov 19, 2001, 04:00 EST
By Rev.Sean C. Rothstein-Jacobson
Jobs come and go. By luck of the genetic draw I am a white, blonde, blue-eyed male who lives in America 2001 AD. I'm not proud that this puts me in a position of choice, but it does. When I need to quit a job on moral reasons, I have the ability to do so. Don't think I don't know how lucky I am for that.

Joys of Retirement Dec 6, 2004, 04:00 EST
By Norma
For those of you who don't know, my husband Bob--henceforth known as 'Good Old Bob' (GOB)--had a choice to retire at the age of sixty-one. He had worked in Cleveland, Ohio for the same company for forty-four years.

Just be yourself Mar 23, 1998, 04:00 EST
By Kelly Brown
Sometimes I wonder...why do we do the things we do?
Is it because we try to cry out for help and no one grasps our theory?
Or is it because the only thing you have left going for you is what you do.
Do you do these things for attention, or do these so called deeds for fear?
Fear that one day that your life will soon be at an end.

Just One Brain Cell is All We Ask May 12, 1998, 02:00 EDT

Maybe I am un-American. Maybe I really just want to shoot the television. (I prefer the latter choice.) For some odd reason (I guess the same reason Jerry Springer puts fights on tv: ratings), the American public seems obsessed with stupid television shows.
