When ad creative Alec Brownstein wanted to get a job in agencies he hit upon a novel solution. Alec bought $6 worth of Google adwords for five US creative directors, ensuring that a personal message appeared top whenever they googled themselves. That $6 investment resulted in four interviews (so an 80% success rate) and two job offers!
